Terms of use and privacy policy
Our commitments to you, the conditions of our teleconsultation services, and the protection of your personal information.
1. Wemedic's commitments and responsibilities
Our commitment: Wemedic commits to arranging a telemedicine appointment with a healthcare professional within a reasonable timeframe for the review of your medical documents.
Our responsibilities: the healthcare professional consulted may decline to issue the requested medical document, notably due to incompatibility of the health condition or pathology presented. Fees incurred in the event the practitioner declines are non-refundable, and Wemedic assumes no responsibility for that decision. Wemedic cannot guarantee your acceptance or the issuance of the medical document.
Service fees: non-refundable fees cover file opening, administrative services, the consultation and follow-up. The healthcare professional's decision remains final and unequivocal.
2. Patient commitments
Registration form: the patient must complete the required forms as accurately as possible to ensure a faithful representation of their situation to healthcare professionals.
Teleconsultation appointment conditions:
- Videoconferencing capability required (FaceTime, Skype or equivalent)
- Be available and ready 5 minutes before the scheduled appointment time
- Provide proof of identity and relevant supporting documents
- Provide the detailed information needed to properly represent your situation
A missed appointment with the healthcare professional may result in additional fees. Failure to provide the required documents may result in automatic refusal of the application.
Payment terms: fees related to the application must be paid either at the time of the request, or at least 3 days before the appointment date.
